More than 1 million city residents received training on the Red Cross Law and the basic knowledge of Red Cross Movement, including those Red Cross members and volunteers, as well as those paid staff. The city public media are actively mobilized for the dissemination of the Red Cross Movement. In addition, the publication of 110,000 copies of Shanghai Red Cross Monthly News and maintenance of the Red Cross website remains on the top of the agenda for the secretariat of Shanghai Branch.
